Teacher Training:
(
2008 Training Sold Out)

If you've ever thought about teaching yoga or deepening your yoga practice, you've come to the right place. As a yoga teacher you'll bring peace, joy, and relaxation into people's lives.

Imagine this… you walk into a studio for your 6:00 pm class, people are rushing from home and work to get to your class. Some are happy, some are frazzled, and some are just plain stressed. You settle in, share some thoughts, and lead some breathing exercises. You begin leading class, hearts begin to beat stronger, bodies are moving in unison, you hear the breath of all your students rising and falling.

An hour or so later your students leave class feeling worked out, stretched out, and blissed out. They feel as if they can do anything in the world. You've done your "job", and what a great job it is.

Teaching at a yoga studio is just one option for certified yoga teachers. There are many other possibilities including gyms and heaths centers, nursing homes, day care centers, schools, businesses, senior centers, and more. You can also teach yoga in a private setting, which is expected to grow tremendously as the baby boomers continue to age.

"With nearly 15 million people practicing yoga in the US to the tune of an estimated $6 billion, yoga is a mainstream presence in America at the outset of the 21st century."
"Unity Woods -- Newsletter"

Going to the mat Feb 06, 2005
"These days, an estimated 16 million Americans have joined in, according to a survey published by Yoga Journal. You know it's gone mainstream when you can buy your yoga equipment at Target, pick up 'Yoga for Dummies' and 'The Complete Idiot's Guide to Yoga With Kids' at your neighborhood bookstore and catch some yoga moves in the background on network television's hottest new show."
"Sacramento Bee -- Lifestyle"

Yoga rooms: All the non-rage Jan 28, 2005
"A recent Harris Interactive survey for Yoga Journal magazine found that 16. 5 million people in the USA now practice yoga, and more than three-quarters of them spend some time doing yoga at home."
